Dr. Oliver ThumPartner
Dr. Oliver Thum has over 18 years of experience working in the private equity industry with a focus on growth financing and leveraged buy-outs (LBO). Before Elvaston, he was a partner at General Atlantic, Düsseldorf and London as well as H2, Cologne and Amsterdam. Dr. Oliver Thum also worked at Bain & Company, San Francisco.
Dr. Oliver Thum earned a doctorate in Engineering Economic Systems at Stanford University and has a degree in Economics from the University of Witten/Herdecke.
Dr. Thomas KeulPartner
For more than 15 years, Dr. Thomas Keul has worked for Elvaston and its predecessor companies. As a partner for internationally operating law firms, he has overseen numerous company sell-offs, investment financing projects and restructuring activities and has extensive experience guiding medium-sized companies and their shareholders.
Dr. Thomas Keul serves on numerous advisory boards of medium-sized companies. He is also Chairman of the Lucia Loeser Foundation.
Niklas Haas has more than 5 years experience in strategy consulting and private equity. Prior to joining Elvaston, he was a Manager with Accenture with primary emphasis on Commercial and Operational Excellence. His focus of work was on Mergers & Acquisitions, Carve-outs and Operating Model design. Niklas Haas holds an MBA, specialising in Investment & Private Equity from Imperial College, London.
Nikolaus Moy has been actively engaged in the filed of private equity for the last 6 years. He started his career as an analyst for a Singaporean Fund and has been working as an independent consultant and investment broker in the German-speaking region since 2014. Nikolaus Moy studied at the universities of Edinburgh and St. Gallen.
Till Sutor has more than 6 years of experience in private equity and management consulting. Prior to joining Elvaston, he worked with Berlin based turnaround investor CMP for 3 years. He started his career as a management consultant with focus on strategy and performance improvement. Till Sutor holds a Master‘s Degree in Business Administration from Saarland University.
Judith Hemling joined Elvaston in 2020. Prior to this she successfully advised clients on M&A mid-market transactions at the international investment bank William Blair. She also gained experience in capital markets at Citi and international tax advisory at EY.
Judith Hemling holds a Bachelor in General Management and a Master in Finance, both completed at EBS University in Oestrich-Winkel.
Mariya Yaneva has been employed at Elvaston since 2017. Prior to Elvaston, Mariya Yaneva worked in Venture Capital and Finance. Mariya earned her degree in finance and accounting in Berlin. During her studies, she spent a semester abroad at the Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, Shanghai.
Max GigelFinance Director
After several years of experience with an international auditing firm in the field of valuation and transaction advisory services, Max Gigel headed the controlling division of a startup company. He holds a Master´s Degree in Finance from University of Cologne.
Jennifer SusekFund Controller
Jennifer Susek is responsible for the Fund-Controlling and Reporting at Elvaston. She was previously employed as a Consultant for Start-Ups, Financial Management and Controlling. During her master’s Course in Financial Services and Risk Management she was employed by a Private Equity company with a specialization in Turnaround.
Jennifer HilgerOffice Manager
Since October 2019 Jennifer Hilger has been supporting the Elvaston Team as an office manager. After completing her training in hotel management Jennifer was able to acquire international experience with several companies before working in office management for a Berlin based software company for 4 year.
Katharina LangenhahnOffice Manager
After being trained as an Office Management Assistant at Care.com Europe, Katharina Langenhahn took on the task of office organisation. She has earned her bachelor’s degree in business in Berlin.
