In November 2023, the software specialist for the energy sector, msu solutions (msu), became part of Energy Software Holding (ESH). msu was founded 20 years ago in Halle (Saale) and employs 130 people. More than 200 energy, heat and water suppliers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland use msu's ERP software. Another business pillar is the cloud-based ERP platform, m8mit, which enables billing, receivables and contract management for charging customers. m8mit was launched in 2021 and has quickly developed into a technology-leading backend system for charging electricity providers, electromobility providers and e-car owners.

ESH brings together several highly innovative IT companies with a broad product portfolio. In addition to the newly acquired msu, these include iS Software (WinEV) and eins+null (CRM-Joules) from Regensburg as well as the technical infrastructure software specialists Signion and S&P from Braunschweig. With a total of more than 700 customers of all sizes, industries and market roles, ESH is one of the leading providers of ERP and infrastructure software in the German-speaking region. In future, ESH's customers will benefit from the opportunity to access the Group's comprehensive product portfolio, which offers a cloud-based ERP platform for charging station operators, integrated CRM systems and the option to select the most suitable modules from various products.
