Penelope becomes part of the Textile Solutions Group

The Textile Solutions Group (TSG), a portfolio company of Elvaston, is expanding its product portfolio with the acquisition of Informàtica Tèxtil SL (Penelope). Penelope is a leading provider of CAD software for the design, production and simulation of fabrics. The company is based in Barcelona and employs 20 people. The core product focuses on the design and simulation of fabrics such as Dobby and Jacquard and also includes marketing tools and integrations.

The acquisition of Penelope strengthens TSG's product portfolio and creates cross-selling potential within the Group. At the same time, Penelope will benefit from Datatex's global presence and extensive network in marketing its products.
