Elvaston exits Nexis after successful years of growth to InfraVia and Tikehau

Share this case study:

We are pleased to announce the successful exit of our majority investment in Nexis, a Regensburg-based provider of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) software, to InfraVia Capital Partners and Tikehau Capital.

Over the past four years, we partnered closely with Nexis to establish it as a leader in the IAM and IGA market. Together, we more than tripled the company's ARR, doubled its headcount, and preserved a great profile throughout. During this period, we supported Nexis in growing its Identity Visibility & Intelligence Platform (IVIP), unifying IAM and GRC capabilities with AI-driven analytics, access governance, and compliance support. Nexis has positioned itself as a key player in its market, helping enterprises manage the exponentially growing complexity of digital identities at scale. The company's technology is recognized in the Gartner Hype Cycle for Digital Identity and the KuppingerCole Leadership Compass on Identity Governance and Administration, and is trusted by renowned organizations across various industries.

We would like to thank the entire Nexis team for their trust and outstanding collaboration over the past four years, and we wish them continued success with InfraVia.

"Together with Elvaston, we have significantly strengthened our platform, expanded our customer base, and sharpened our position as a leading player in Identity Governance. We are excited to continue this journey with InfraVia." said Dr. Heiko Klarl, CEO of Nexis.

"The past four years with Elvaston have been marked by a trusted and successful partnership. We are confident that the partnership with InfraVia will accelerate Nexis' international expansion and product innovation." said Dr. Michael Kunz, COO of Nexis.

We would also like to thank our advisors for their support throughout this process: Stephens (M&A Advisor), Morrison Foerster (Legal Advisor), Grant Thornton (Financial & Tax Advisor), Altman Solon (Commercial Advisor), and LIVA (W&I Broker).
